Biography

Ziyaad Sarang is the Chief Investment Officer of Revego Fund Managers, the investment manager of the Revego Africa Energy Fund. With over twenty-five years dedicated to structuring finance and advisory in power, infrastructure and mining transactions, Ziyaad has been instrumental in numerous pioneering deals. Before his tenure with Revego, he led the infrastructure sector of a prominent African bank, cementing his reputation in public-private partnerships, structured finance, and M&A, with a particular knack for navigating the complex landscapes of infrastructure, mining and energy sectors. With his strategic vision, the Revego Fund Managers has an asset under management (AUM) portfolio of about ZAR 2 billion (USD 105 million), covering nine operational and one development asset. Ziyaad’s proactive attitude and extensive sector knowledge have established Revego as a key player for sustainable energy investment, promoting growth and innovation in the African energy sector.
