Biography
Yemisi Mokuolu is a leading consultant supporting business growth in Africa providing a range of professional services, such as business development, market entry, partnership brokerage and investment.
Yemisi has over 12 years of experience as a business advisor and management consultant within the Creative Industries. She has consulted for Government agencies and private businesses across African and Europe to design and project manage high profile Policy Development, Capacity Building and Regeneration programmes. These have included; Arts Council England, British Council, Bank of Industry (Nigeria), City University, Creative Skillet, the Department of Trade (UK), the French Institute, Goethe, NESTA, the Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce, Royal College of Arts and UNITAR (the United Nation’s training arm).
Yemisi is also an accomplished independent producer and arts consultant. Yemisi works within the Creative and Cultural industries producing independent films, arts seasons and large-scale events. She has produced arts seasons and festivals for clients which include; Amnesty International, BBC, Cutty Sark, Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea and Shoreditch Trust. And has provided arts marketing and audience development support to organisations which include; Barbican, Ovalhouse, the National Theatre, Southbank Centre and the Victoria & Albert Museum. As a creative in her own right, Yemisi is the co-producer of “Oliva Tweest: An Afrobeats Musical”, “Asa Baako – One Dance Festival” in Ghana and the founder and producer of “Out of Africa”, the UK most prolific arts festival and brand.
