Biography

Sudeep Laad is a partner and a founding member of L.E.K. Consulting’s Global Education Practice. He advises education companies and investors across all education segments including K-12, Higher and Vocational Education, Transnational Education, English Language Learning, Corporate Training and Education Technology.
Sudeep is an expert on the African education landscape, where he has led numerous engagements spanning market entry strategies, buy- and sell-side diligences, business plan development and revenue and profit uplift strategies. He is frequently invited to speak at industry-leading education events, including SuperReturn Emerging Markets, AFSIC, EdtechX Europe and Education Investor’s Global Hotspots. His insights have been featured in numerous publications like EducationInvestor Global, Relocate Global and Channels Business Global. He has also authored incisive thought leadership pieces such as ‘Africa Ascendant: Mega Trends and Themes in Private Education Investment’ along with a report in association with the IFC titled, ‘Digital Skills in Sub-Saharan Africa’.
Sudeep holds a Bachelor’s of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology and an MBA from the Indian School of Business.
