Biography

Stephen is a general partner at DFS Lab where he leads the investment practice. He has invested in over 50 startups in Africa including Andela, NALA, Orda, Ando, and Matta.

Previously, Stephen worked with the financial inclusion team at the Bill & Gates Foundation and has a decade of experience at the leading edge of emerging market fintech and digital commerce with a focus on Africa and Asia.

Stephen earned his BA and MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.
