Biography

Shahzad is a director of Trade Kings, the largest FMCG manufacturer and one of the largest in Sub Sahara Africa, a significant contributor to the Zambian economy.
Established in 1995 with over 16000 employees, Trade Kings is a flagship business with over $600m invested in its world class manufacturing facilities. These include the food & beverage industry, home & personal care industry and as diverse as steel processing.
Shahzad has 30 years of international business experience whilst also having held a variety of advisory and board roles within government and industry.

Roles such as: Non-Executive Director at the DTI (Department of Trade and Industry) Member of the Queen’s award panel, and Chairman of the ISEE (Innovation Society for the East of England), culminating in the award of a MBE for services to business.
Shahzad holds a MBA and has a Marketing scholarship from North-western University, Chicago.
