Biography

As Director – Head of DFI & Sovereign Business, Sebastien pilots the development of Mirova private assets funds towards DFI, sovereign entities and foundations, in complement of the existing Mirova and Natixis team. Sebastien joined Mirova in 2022, following the acquisition of SunFunder, an organization where he was part of the management team. Prior to that, Sebastien worked during 20 years in impact investing and emerging markets, sucessively as Chief Investment Officer and Deputy CEO of Symbiotics, as CEO of Oxus Microfinance Holding networks, as founder and CEO of PlaNIS that merged with responsAbility in 2010, as CEO of PlaNetFInance. From 1995 to 2004, Sébastien worked for Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young as a TAS Senior Director (Transaction Advisory Services).

He is a teacher at Sciences PO Paris and EDHEC Business School.
Sébastien holds a diploma from the French Business School EDHEC (with a major in finance) and from the DESCF (Chartered Accountant).
