Biography

Philippe WATRIN is the Chief Investment Officer of the Rwanda Social Security Board (RSSB), the public institution mandated to administer social security in Rwanda, which is as well the largest Rwandan investment fund.

Prior to joining RSSB, he used to work for the French sovereign wealth fund, Bpifrance, as the Deputy Head of Assets and Liabilities Management department, and for Mazars in the Transaction Services and Financial Audit Departments.

He holds a Master of Science (MS) in Economic Research, Finance and Insurance from Aix-Marseille School of Economics (France) and Master of Science (MS) in Mathematical Finance and Strategy from Centrale Mediterranee (France).
