Biography

Olamipo Ogunsanya is an Executive Director in the African Local Currency Bond Fund where she is responsible for deal origination and execution, as well as broader fund management activities. She has significant expertise across the African continent, particularly in financial services, renewable energy, and debt capital markets.

Prior to joining Cygnum Capital, formerly Lion’s Head Global Partners, Olamipo worked at Renaissance Capital, a Frontier and Emerging Market focused investment bank. While there, she was the Lead Financial Institutions Equity Research Analyst, responsible for covering 17 banks spanning Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana and Rwanda.

Prior to Renaissance Capital, she worked at Vetiva Capital Management. Olamipo holds a BSc Economics from the University of Warwick.
