Mohamed Salah Frad

Mohamed Salah Frad is a seasoned finance professional with over 30 years of experience in corporate finance, asset management, and financial restructuring. He currently serves as the CEO of United Gulf Financial Services – North Africa (UGFS-NA), a leading portfolio management company and a subsidiary of Kipco Group. UGFS-NA provides a wide range of services, including managed portfolios, fund services, and financial advisory, fostering innovation and economic growth in Tunisia and the region.

Mr. Frad has a distinguished career, previously leading the research department at MAC SA, where he spearheaded the IPO of six companies. He holds an International Certificate of Investment Analyst (CIIA) and an Executive MBA from the University of Quebec at Montreal. He also earned his degree from the prestigious Institut des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC) in Carthage.

Beyond his professional roles, Mohamed Salah Frad has been actively involved in supporting the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Tunisia. As the President of ATIC since 2017, he has played a pivotal role in promoting investment capital and driving strategic initiatives for startups and SMEs across various sectors. Under his leadership, UGFS-NA has launched several successful funds, including the New Era Fund, which focuses on cutting-edge sectors such as AI, Biotechnology, and GreenTech.

In addition to his business pursuits, Mr. Frad is deeply involved in academic activities, sharing his expertise through teaching and training sessions. His academic contributions have further solidified his reputation as a thought leader in corporate finance and investment strategies.
