Biography

Luz is the Fund Manager of REGMIFA (Regional MSME Investment Fund for Sub-Saharan Africa) a Fund managed by Symbiotics Asset Management. With over 10 years of experience in the impact investment industry. she previously served as the Director of Hedging Services at MFX Solutions. Her career also includes roles at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Treasury of Citibank Mexico.

Luz is an economist with a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. In terms of certification, she is a CFA® charter holder and recently became a Certified Expert in Microfinance from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
