Biography

Kudzai is the co-founder and CEO of Mobbisurance, a fintech company that is developing a mobile based crop insurance product and other financial services for farmers. Kudzai and his team have used machine learning to drive down costs significantly associated with serving this particular market segment. In addition he also co-founded the Emerging Farmers Exchange, a marketplace that links big buyers of agricultural produce with smallholder farmers that are currently excluded from the agricultural value chain. A passionate financial inclusion advocate, Kudzai was also recognized by Fast Company magazine as one of South Africa’s top twenty young entrepreneurs under 30 and he is also a Mandela Washington Fellow.
