Biography

Julia Hawkins is the Founder and Director of Hawkins Eberdal Ltd, a financial advisory firm in Mauritius specialising in raising international capital for high-growth sustainable ventures across the African continent. Their expertise lies in corporate and project finance, with a focus on renewable energy, sustainable infrastructure, agriculture and health.

Julia, originally from Sweden, spent over a decade in London’s financial industry, holding various advisory and investment positions. She has worked on transactions ranging from USD 500k to 3bn and has conducted numerous training sessions on project finance, financial modelling and valuation methodologies worldwide.

Julia holds an MSc in Economics and Business with a specialization in Finance, as well as a MA in International Management. She pursued her studies at the Stockholm School of Economics in Sweden and the London School of Economics in the United Kingdom.
