Biography

Jennifer is leading the development of the Impact Licensing Initiative’s Venture Studio arm, which aims to co/found impact start-ups to take technologies licensed and adapted from corporate and university technology owners and bring them to market in Africa. Prior to working with ILI, she has 15+ years’ experience as an advisor, investor and mentor to impact projects in the public, private and social sectors. She led UK investment activities for SI2, a European impact VC fund, and is an active NED in its portfolio companies. In her own consultancy work she has worked with local governments and social sector organisations on innovative financing and business planning. In her early career she supported executive teams in large corporates on growth strategy and aligning operations with sales
