Biography

Bamidele Olalekan Oseni, is the Managing Partner, Caleb Consulting Uganda Ltd, a firm of Strategy, Financial Management, Human Capital Management, Child Education and Enterprise Risk Management Consultant. He has over 20years post-graduation experience in Banking, Audit practice & Management Consulting covering Domestic/Retail Banking, Branch Management, Corporate Banking, Banking Operations, Financial Controls & Strategy, Internal Controls, Credit Assessment & Approvals, Internal Control Enterprise Risk Management.
He is Management Consultant, an acclaimed Pan Africa business leader and a seasoned Enterprise risk professional with a strong track record of building and leading great teams.
As a Management Consultant, he had served and provided Consultancy & Advisory Services on Financial Management, Strategy Planning/Execution, Training & Capacity Building, HR Outsourcing & Recruitment, Information System Security, Enterprise Risk Management, Accounting and Internal Control to World Bank South Sudan, Commercial Banks, Insurance & Fintech firms in East & West Africa. Recently, his firm supported and assisted a commercial bank in South Sudan and Fintech in Uganda to develop Medium and Short Strategies that incorporated COVID-19 Mitigation Strategies.

He is Pan African Business Leader and former member of the Executive Management Team of several banks in East Africa & West Africa where he was instrumental to bank’s business turnaround and improved profitability and eventually improved bank’s Regulatory Risk Rating.
He was former General Manager/Group Chief Risk Officer for I & M Banking Group and non-banking subsidiaries with headquarters Kenya. Before then, he was the Chief Credit Officer for United Bank for Africa covering 18 Africa Countries. He was pioneer Country Risk Manager that set up Risk Management and Compliance functions at Ecobank South Sudan and Global Trust Bank (now DFCU) in East Africa

He has multi-country experiences and understanding of banking markets and regulatory frameworks in over 24 Africa Countries.

He is a certified Risk Manager by KPMG Sweden, Certified Management Consultant (CMC), Fellows of several local and international Professional bodies such as Institute of Chartered Account of Nigeria (FCA), Institute of Management Consultant, Institute of Credit Administration of Nigeria, and Associate Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ACTI).

He holds B. Agric from Obafemi Awolowo University (Second Class Upper Division), Masters of Arts degree in Economics from Kampala International University, Uganda. He is an international trainer and speaker on many International Conferences such as AFSIC London, Lead event and Seamless East Africa, and that holds annually.
