Biography

Helena joined the international team at the CISI in 2010 and focussed on developing the CISI’s business in the Middle East. As the Dubai office became more established Helena turned her focus to Africa where the CISI signed its first agreements in East Africa in late 2014. Last year over 2,500 CISI exams were taken in Africa, an increase from 300 just a few years earlier and the CISI is now recognised in 8 countries across Africa.

During Helena’s time at the CISI she took time out from the international work in 2015 to work on strategy under the Chief Executive when she focused on the CISI’s merger with the UK’s Institute of Financial Planning, but in 2017 moved back into the international team to head up the international development team.

Helena is a graduate of the University of Exeter. She is a keen tennis player, but also enjoys running and cycling and has a keen interest in travel.
