Biography

Mr. Ben-Ahmed is the Country Head and the CEO of Metropolitan Group Ghana. Prior to Joining Metropolitan Ghana He had a successful tenure in Ghana Life Insurance as a Head of Department reporting to the Managing Director from the year 2004 to 2009. His responsibilities covered the driving of profitability and process efficiency across Finance, Sales and Human Resource departments. He then joined Vanguard Life Assurance and rose through the ranks to Senior Manager, Sales and Operation. He transitioned to Saham Life Insurance in 2013, spearheading an unprecedented year on year premium income growth and sustaining profitability. Tawiah has over 12 years of relevant experience. He is a Chartered Insurer, a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute among others and the Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana (IIG).
