Biography

Koos Bekker founded M-Net and Multichoice, one of the first paid television services outside of the USA. M-Net and Multichoice went on to dominate the African continent with services in 48 African countries. Koos Bekker was also a founding director of MTN, a mobile network company. Koos Bekker went on to become the CEO for Naspers, a South African media group, where he led many important investments growing the market capitalisation of Naspers from $1.2 billion to $45 billion.
