Biography

Funmi Dele-Giwa is a seasoned executive with over 15 years of legal and regulatory experience. She is qualified to practice law in Nigeria and the United Kingdom and is also a Chartered Governance Professional. She is the Director of Legal & Regulatory Affairs and the Group Company Secretary at MFS Africa, an innovative and dynamic pan-African fintech company operating one of the largest digital payment networks across the African continent. In her role, she is responsible for four key areas within the Group: (a) the legal function; (b) all regulatory engagements and managing the portfolio of regulatory approvals; (c) oversight of engagement with Governmental and multi-lateral development organisations; and (d) serving as the Group Company Secretary, with responsibility for all governance-related matters.
